Through Race To the Top by Trek, two passionate and hardworking students or recent graduates will be awarded a bike racing scholarship worth about $5,000.  Ride Up Grades will match each young person to a compatible team, provide an annual license, cycling kit, travel stipend and one-on-one coaching to kick-start their skill set. Trek will provide a road bike to keep, helmet, and shoes to each young scholarship winner.

Riders must be 14 to 23 years of age to qualify for the program and must already know how to ride a bike, even if they don't own one. Riders must be able to demonstrate a passion for cycling and racing, but we do not need you to be race ready to apply. Riders must attend or have recently attended a NYC public school.
